Motorcycle-Riding Councilman Proposes Motorcycle Parking Bill

Councilman Peter F. Vallone Jr. of New York City has proposed a new bill that will allow motorcyclists to park for free. Currently, they have to use parking meters just as cars would. The Muni-meters issue receipts detailing that you are allowed to be there and for how long, but when the receipts are placed on the motorcycles they tends to either blow away or be taken, and the owners then get ticketed for it. Councilman Vallone, a motorcycle rider himself, is hoping that this new bill will be passed to make things better for riders.
